Register for upcoming Lexington webinars Watch archived Lexington webinars Access links for regulatory organizations and associations Risk Tool has many functions you’ll come to appreciate. In Risk Tool you will find helpful checklist, websites, technical bulletins and more on such topics as security, general liability and vehicle liability. Check out our webcasts on Driver Selection, Elements of a Successful Fleet Safety Program, or Care Custody & Control (Who’s Liable) to name just a few. The Risk Tool System is a single source for accessing and managing regulatory functions. You can do all of this from the convenience of any device with an internet connection any time of the day, any day of the year.

HOME PAGE The system is navigated by the tabs at the top of the screen and this is the home page. Navigation within the system is easy and is based on standard web page routing. The risk tool system is modeled after the concept of risk management workflow-namely, what does a safety or risk management person want or need to do or want or need to know.

MANAGEMENT ACTIVITIES This is where you can host data bases of items online that are pertinent to your organization for easy access for all of your employees no matter where they are located.

MANAGEMENT ACTIVITIES What can I do here? Best Practice Assessments Inspections Inventory Equipment Inventory Vehicles List Confined spaces List Chemicals From here you can assess your current risk management efforts in a multitude of areas such as conducting Best Practice Assessments on Fleet management and/or Power Industrial Trucks for example. Or you can conduct Inspections for items such as Building Fire Protection or General Work Environment. The Management Activities tab also allows you to inventory your equipment and vehicles and schedule/assign preventive maintenance and repairs to keep your company fleet and equipment in good working order. Or you can create data bases of chemicals/MSDS’s and confined spaces within your facility if applicable.

RISK GUIDES Risk Guides are designed as a one stop shopping resource for safety/risk management information. Contained in the guides are narrative topic overview, links to federal regulations, exposures limits, hazard identification, work practice controls, PPE, administrative controls, etc. Risk guides are available via a PDF download in the upper hand corner of the screen.

RISK GUIDES What can I do here? Risk Guides are informative written advisories intended to educate you on a particular risk area. Guides will inform users how to adequately manage that type of risk within the system. Here you will find information about particular areas of risk that are important to your operations and which will help guide your risk management efforts. As an example there has been much back and fourth conversation on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Associations CSA (Compliance Safety Accountability) program and you can learn all about it and how to prepare your organization for it. Or you may need guidance on how to comply with employer hiring practices which you will find here along with many other areas of risk management guidance.

RISK LIBRARY The risk management library contains thousands of safety, compliance and risk related sources available at the click of a mouse. The Risk Library provides an invaluable resource by aiding users in quickly and easily locating general health, safety and environmental information.

RISK LIBRARY What can I do here? The Risk Library is a collection of over 10,000 international government environmental, transportation, health and safety hyperlinks You will find information here to locate sources on regulatory subjects or materials. For example, maybe you need workplace posters such as Department of Labor postings or OSHA postings.

TRAINING RESOURCES Training Resources contain hundreds of health and safety training programs to make it easy to comply with mandated and selective requirements. Within the training resources tab you will find training bundles, which are packaged training materials providing everything you need to conduct training with a single click of the mouse

TRAINING RESOURCES What can I do here? The Training Resource Library is a collection of training programs in many different formats such as; PowerPoint, PDF, html, and word. Here you will find numerous training topics that will provide you with a training module, instructor notes, attendance roster, lesson plan, competency test, answer sheet, and completion certificate. Topics that may be of interest to you include such areas as back & lifting safety, ergonomics, and driving safety.

ADMINISTRATION This is where you would go to set up and manage authorized users for your facility.

ADMINISTRATION What can I do here? Under the Administration tab is a series of administrative tools set up to mange authorized users.
