Download Orders, Shipments, Receipts The system downloads order data files in zip format that must be unzipped to view. The system downloads shipment and receipt data files in tab delimited text format. Preview your data before the download process. Tip: Because you do not get a preview of what is to be downloaded, we recommend you save a filter prior to executing a download. Then, when you perform the download, apply the saved filter criteria to insure you download the right information. Tip: If your search is too broad because you left too many fields blank, your download times out and fails after ten minutes. Copyright 2018 Exostar LLC | All Rights Reserved |

Downloading Orders On the left Navigation Tree, go to Upload/Download,  Download Orders or Download Orders (Supplier) to access the Search Purchase Orders page. From the type pull down menu, choose Blanket/Discrete PO or Reverse Logistics PO. Enter your search criteria or Apply a pre-saved filter. Downloading Orders Click Blanket/Discrete Order Download to see data with the default format, or click Blanket/Discrete UI Export to see data with a customized format. Note: You can set up and save your own download templates by clicking the Configure icon. Optionally, enter Comments to reference your download. For example, if you execute multiple downloads, entering “last 30 days” then “30-90 days”, will help differentiate downloads. Downloading Orders – Status Column Queued: The system is working on other files and will get to your file momentarily. In Process: The system is still writing the data file. If the Queued or In Process status displays, the system automatically updates the status every ten seconds. You can also click the Refresh icon (R) to manually refresh. Completed: The system is done writing the data file. If the Completed status displays, the file was successfully written on the server. If the Completed with Errors status displays (S) with an exclamation point icon, an error occurred in processing the data file. From the type pull down menu, choose Shipment or Return Shipment Manifest. Enter your search criteria or Apply a pre-saved filter. Opening a Tab Delimited Text File in Excel

Opening a Tab Delimited Text File in Excel If you open a text file directly with Microsoft Excel, you may find some of the following things occur to your downloaded data: Leading zeros are dropped, i.e. 001234 becomes 1234. Dates in a format = mmddyyyyhhmmss (month day year hour min sec), i.e. 10312016123000 (Oct. 31, 2016, 12:30:00 pm), get converted into scientific notation and become 1.03E+13. For uploading, dates must be in the text format = mmddyyyyhhmmss (month day year hour min sec), i.e. 10312016123000 (Oct. 31, 2016, 12:30:00 pm). Opening a Tab Delimited Text File in Excel In the Text Import Wizard, choose Delimited then click Next >. In step 2, choose Tab then click Next >. Scroll all the way to the right, hold the Shift key and click the last column. Make sure all columns are highlighted. Inbox Status

Inbox Status On the left Navigation Tree, go to Inbox Status. Click + Job Filter to expand the top section. Optionally, enter your search criteria. Data Extract from Order Item View (List Pages)

Inbox Status You can download order item information from the PO, shipment, and goods receipt list pages, plus the collab selector page. Files downloaded in this manner cannot be modified and uploaded back into SCMP. If your intent is to edit the data and upload it back into SCMP, use the Upload/Download menu options, not this download workflow. This download capability is similar to and in addition to the export functionality. Download Selected Collabs is items per displayed page, so multiple pages = multiple downloads, while Download All Collabs is all items on all pages into one file. 500 is the maximum number of records that can be downloaded. 1 1 Copyright 2018 Exostar LLC | All Rights Reserved |

Inbox Status PO and Shipment (Order Item) Downloads: If the PO or shipment list page (A) is accessed via Summary or Search, and you download order items from that page, you will get one line per item in the downloaded file. If the PO or shipment list page (B) is accessed via Line Search, and you download order items from that page, you get all of the order item lines.
