Proprietary and Confidential Planning Schedule Download/Upload Data for planning schedules can be taken “offline” from SCP by downloading selected collaborations. The downloaded information can be used for reference outside of SCP, or modified and then uploaded back into the SCP application. Data that is downloaded and uploaded back into SCP must be in a Microsoft Excel (.xls) file format. Only Excel columns that are highlighted in yellow can be edited. If the uploaded file contains invalid records, an error file is generated with an explanation of the problem. >The rules around editable Supplier Responses for Past Due Items are validated. >The system validates the data type, data size and date formats for all editable data values. >The system ensures a Reason Code was provided, and if the Reason Code of ‘X – Other’ is used, then the ‘Item Notes’ field must have a value. –The Item Notes fields has a maximum character limit of 500.

Proprietary and Confidential Search Before You Download The search process for downloading does not show a list of the searched items before it downloads them. Therefore, you will not see what will be downloaded. A good workaround for this issue is to first run a PS search: 1.From the Navigation Tree, click Demand Plan & Forecast  Planning Schedules  Search to access the Search page 2.Enter your search criteria 3.Click Search 4.Once you have found the items to be downloaded, write down your search criteria 1 2 3

Proprietary and Confidential Downloading Data - Status A.The Status column indicates the progress of the file to be downloaded. >Queued means the system is working on other files and your file is pending. >In Progress means the system is still writing the file to be downloaded. –If “Queued” or “In Progress” status is displayed, periodically click the Refresh icon (R) to display the most current status. It will not automatically refresh. >Completed means the system is done writing the file to be downloaded, and the download file was successfully written on the server. –If the Status column displays an exclamation point icon, an error occurred in writing the file. Click the icon to view an explanation of the error. R A

Proprietary and Confidential Inbox Status The Inbox Status section shows the status of all documents being manually uploaded and downloaded into SCP by a user. Clicking on any file name in the Inbox Status allows you to Open or Save that file.  From the Navigation Tree, click Inbox Status  If there is an Error File icon, click on it to see why the file did not download or upload successfully. Note: If there are a lot of jobs listed, click on + Job Filter to expand a searching section that will filter the job list. 3 1 2

Proprietary and Confidential Working Offline with Downloaded Data 1.In the spreadsheet, only columns in yellow are editable: F.In the Supplier Response Date column, you can enter a new date G.In the Supplier Response Qty column, you can enter a new quantity H.If your Response Date and/or Quantity do not match the Schedule Date and/or Quantity (V), enter a Reason Code in column H by typing the first letter of any reason code listed at the top of the page (it should populate with the entire code) I.If your reason code is X-Other, enter a note in the Item Notes column 2.Save your spreadsheet G H I F V

Proprietary and Confidential Uploading Planning Schedule Error File If you see a red exclamation [!] icon in the Status column, it means that an error occurred during the upload. 1.In the Status column click the red exclamation [!] icon to view the Error File that will explain what failed. 1

Proprietary and Confidential Troubleshooting Upload Errors Some of the most common errors when uploading a file: >Uploaded Excel document’s format must exactly match the downloaded format (placement of columns etc.) >Items must correlate to original list of items >Delivery date must be prior to the upload’s run date (or Response Limit Date if one was provided by the buyer) >Dates must be in correct date format >Quantities must be positive numbers >Reason codes must exactly match reason code standard choices (not just the letter but the entire code as listed at the top of the page) >Using reason code of ‘X – Other’ must include Notes >Notes field must be less than 500 characters

Proprietary and Confidential Sending Planning Schedule Response If the PS Upload has a status of Completed and there is no Error File shown, then the PS Response has automatically been sent back to the buyer for all of the items that were in the uploaded file. To confirm that the PS items were sent, you can run a PS search and: 1. View the Status column on the PS List page 2. Or, open the MCV page and view the Status row. If it is green for today’s date then that item was sent.
