How to prevent Cyber bullying Be aware of what your kids are doing online Talk with your kids about cyber bullying and other online issues regularly Know the sites your kids visit and their online activity Make it know that as a parent you will check on their online communications Friend or follow your child on social media to monitor activity Encourage your child to tell you or another adult if they or someone they know is being bullied

Establish Rules about Technology Use Establish rules about appropriate use of computers, cell phones, and other technology Help kids be smart about what they post online Encourage them not to share anything that could hurt or embarrass others or themselves Have them think about who they want to see the information posted Keep passwords safe…never share!
