Grading Criteria LETTER GRADE -Tests -Quizzes -Assignments -Class Participation - Foldable Notes - Warm Ups - Explorations - Group Work/Activities - etc. -Final Exam GRADING SCALE 100 – 90% A 89 – 80% B 79 – 70% C 69 – 60% D 59 – 0% F

Grading Criteria WORK HABITS Assignment Points 2 points – on time, complete, neat, in pencil, all work shown in proper form 1 point – does not meet the above requirements for full credit 0 points – missing, late, very incomplete, shows answers only with no work, etc. E = 100 – 92% of assignment points S = 91 – 80% of assignment points U = below 80% of assignment points

Grading Criteria COOPERATION Students are expected to conduct themselves in a mature, respectful manner at all times and in compliance with the behavior and dress codes of San Pedro High School. School policies regarding electronic devices and hats will be enforced. Chronic absences or tardies will adversely affect your child’s cooperation grade.

Classroom Expectations Class Rules -Students are expected to be in their seats, ready to work, when the tardy bell rings. -Students are to remain in their seats during the entire class period until the passing bell rings. -All work must be done in pencil. -Students are expected to treat me and fellow students with respect. -Students are expected to comply with the school behavior and dress codes.

Attendance Policy School policy: no more than 7 days or 28 period absences allowed. Students who have 8 or more while day absences of 29 period absences will be placed on the non-participation Stop Clearance List. Absence is never an excuse for not knowing what is going on in class!
