3 Fashion Design 1 & 2 Ms. May Re-doing failing assignments Communication Procedures On daily assignments, you will have 3 days from the day you are informed of the failing grade to re-do. On tests, you may schedule a make-up time for mega-lunch or during my tutoring times. Positive communication with parent/guardian will take place as a result of excellent behavior and hard work. Any earned grade lower than a 50 will require parent contact by you and Ms. May at a scheduled time. Late / Incomplete Work Absentee Policy YES, WE DID SOMETHING IMPOR- TANT WHILE YOU WERE ABSENT. It is the student’s responsibility to check with me for missed assignments. A student has three days to turn in any work assigned on a day a student was absent. If a test or quiz was administered on a day a student was absent, the test/quiz must be made up on the first day the student returns. Schedule a time with me for mega-lunch or during my tutoring time. If previously assigned work was due on the day of the absence, the work is due on the first day the student returns. My expectation is that ALL assignments be completed to a level of proficiency (70% or higher) and turned in on time. If an assignment is turned in but proficiency is not demonstrated, the assignment will be returned to the student and the work must be completed / redone. Parents will be contacted once a week for late assignments or those lower than a 70%. Printer and Internet issues are not an excuse for late work, as you will have access to library computers and my classroom computers during mega-lunch, before, and after school. Technology Ending Class School laptops will be used on occasion in my class. Several class assignments, projects, and assessments will be completed digitally through the Google. Students are expected to abide by all school and district digital safety rules and guidelines. Failure to do so will result in said student being banned from technology while in Fashion Design. Personal electronic devices are only to be used when given permission by Ms. May. We will wrap up each class period 5 minutes before the bell. Turn in completed assignments and put up supplies Update assignment log Pick up make-up work if needed Return spiral/folder to crate Return to seat and stay seated until the bell I, ________________________________________, have read and understand the rules and expectations for Fashion Design I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to contact my teacher if I have any questions or concerns.
