Coach Thomas US History Government

Objective The student will be able to read maps, identify places on a map, identify the different events that have occurred and place the events in proper order. The student will also be able to explain how these different events have effected the growth and prosperity here in the history of the United States. The student will be required to do presentations by powerpoints and photo story 3 and a video.

Procedures The student will come in the class and sharpen pencil prior to the bell ringing. Don’t wait for the bell to ring because the bell does not start the class the teacher does. The student will begin work on the bell ringer. The bell ringer will be located on the board. The student will have 5 minutes to do so. The bell ringer will be checked. Occasionally, the bell ringer will be taken up for a pop test. The teacher will then begin the daily lesson. Class is over when the teacher releases you, not when the bell rings.
