Rick Riordan The Lightning Thief

My favorite author is Rick Riordan, an American author best known for writing fantasy books for children and adults. Rick Riordan (real name is Richard Russel) was born in June 5, 1964. He graduated from Heights the University of Texas at Austin in 1986. Riordan taught English and History, including Greek mythology.

Our favourite Rick Rordan’s book is The Lightning Thief Our favourite Rick Rordan’s book is The Lightning Thief. It was written in 2005. It’s a fantasy and adventure novel based on Greek mythology. The main character is a twelve-year boy, called Percy Jackson. He discovers that he is a semigod and tries to prevent the war between the Greek Gods Zeus, Poseidon and Hades. His friends help him.

We enjoyed this book because we like adventure stories We enjoyed this book because we like adventure stories. Besides, the plot is very involving! We read this book in two days! The book was so interesting that we couldn’t tear ourselves from it until we read the novel to the end!
