3. Setting This story takes place in New York, first at a museum, then Percy’s mom’s apartment, the at Camp Half-Blood. The story mostly takes place at Camp Half- Blood. It is the spring and Percy is in the sixth grade.

4. Characters Percy is twelve years old, has dark hair, is dyslexic, has ADHD, and is determined. Grover is twenty-eight years old, skinny, crippled, half goat, has acne, a wispy beard. He is also trust worthy, cowardly, dependable, loyal, and tactful. Annabeth is twelve years old, smart, proud, clever, and has blonde hair.

5. Plot: Conflict Percy is trying to find Zeus’s master bolt before a war starts on Olympus.

6. Plot: Resolution Percy found Zeus’s master bolt with Ares, then Percy fought him and beat him, and returned the master bolt to Zeus.

7. My Opinion My opinion of this book is that I actually liked it more than the movie so it was pretty good. This book reminded me of some characters in Harry Potter like Harry who found out he was a wizard just like Percy who found out he was a demi-god, Ron Weasley who would help Harry no matter what which is exactly whay Grover would do for Percy, and Hermione who is the smartest on in the group like Annabeth.

From there he goes to Camp-Half Blood, a camp for demi-gods, half human, half god. There he meets Grover a satyr, and Annabeth daughter of Athena. They go on a dangerous quest to find Zeus’s master bolt and try to save Olympus from war.
