Credit Recovery/Grade Suppression 5th period should be starting in February. Students may recover failed courses by attending after school sessions face to face (for math and biology) or in APEX for other courses. Remember that you can only earn a “P” on your transcript if you pass and the previous failing grade remains on your transcript. Grade Suppression (NEW) Students who previously failed a course may choose to repeat it during the school day for credit. By repeating the course in school, students will earn a new grade on their transcript, which will replace the failing grade. Speak with a counselor about this option, as it may prevent you from graduating on time if you have failed multiple courses. This is an option athletes should take advantage of if they want to play college sports.
