3 Important Registration Dates
Feb. 13th – Feb.17th – Kentwood Registration Lesson Transcript Review & Registration Survey Feb. 27th- March 3rd– Grade 9 register Online during History classes. Grade 10 register online during English classes.

4 Credit Checks: *Explain how to access From Laptop and Review
Step 1: Log-in at Skyward Student Access. Step 2: Click “Graduation Requirements” on left side of page. Step 3: Click “Show All Area Details” on top of page.

5 *Pass out Registration Survey
Using Your Credit Check – fill out “Credit Check Worksheet” to determine which classes you must take to graduate.

7 University Requirements
4.0 Credits of ENGLISH (Kentwood Graduation Requirement) -3.0 Credits of Composition and Literature 3.0 Credits of SOCIAL STUDIES (Kentwood Graduation Requirement) Leadership credit does not count towards requirement 3.0 Credits of MATH (Kentwood Graduation Requirement) - 3.0 credits Algebra 1-2, Geometry 1-2, Algebra 3-4 - SENIOR YEAR math required OR successful completion of Pre-calculus Seniors must earn 1.0 credit in math, or in a math based quantitative course (for example, AP Statistics), or in a math based career and technical course (for example, Accounting). An algebra based science course (Chemistry or Physics) taken during the senior year also would satisfy this requirement, in addition to fulfilling a science credit. 2.0 Credits of SCIENCE (Kentwood Requires 3.0 Credits) - 2.0 credits of laboratory science -1.0 credit MUST be algebra based science (chemistry or physics) 2.0 Credits of World Language (Kentwood Graduation Requirement) - 2.0 credits of the same language American Sign Language (ASL) qualifies for most universities 1.0 Credit of FINE, VISUAL, OR PERFORMING ARTS (Kentwood Requires 2.0 Credits) Source: Washington Higher Education Coordinating Board. You should only register for 6 credits ( unless you are taking zero hour) Schedule Changes after the 1st 10 days will be an automatic F for the semester Schedules are computer generated

10 Questions? Remember: Bring your “Registration Survey” form to your History/English classes for Online Registration the week of February 27th thru March 3rd. After Online registration the counselor will keep your “Registration Survey” form.
