SINGAPORE CHANGI AIRPORT - SUVARNABHUMI AIRPORT Sunday 5 th June Jetstar (Check in desk 3) Singapore (SIN) --- Bangkok (BKK) Flight number: 3K515 Flight duration: 10.45am – pm Meet at Terminal 1, 7.30am. Please go to your child's class teacher immediately to sign them in (Chair area next to door 1) All children and staff to be wearing Rustic Pathways t-shirts. Parents to drop off children. Teachers to collect passports from children and medication (labelled). Children will be in pre-organised groups and have group leaders attached to each group. Please ensure your child has the necessary Visa / passport in line with Rustic Pathways requirements. Citizens from most countries will get a free 30 day visa on arrival, please check the Thai visa requirements for your specific nationality and contact the Thai Embassy in Singapore if necessary Rustic Pathways 24 Hour Emergency Line /

SUVARNABHUMI AIRPORT – UDON THANI AIRPORT Sunday 5 th June Thai Smile (RP used airlines) Flight number WE6 Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) to Udon Thani (UTH) 2.35pm – 3.40pm Will be met here by Rustic Pathways staff who will assist us with check in and bag collection / drop.

UDON THANI AIRPORT – THE RICEFIELDS BASE Arrive at 3.40pm We will meet additional Rustic Pathways staff and take 10 – 15 minute drive on songteow. The children will be accompanied by 2 adults. We will travel between group activities in this form. We will put an update on the blog that night for parents. When we arrive at the base, the children will unpack, sort rooms out and begin their itinerary. PHOTOS FROM THE RECCE Bedrooms Male house and female house (including staff) Rooms vary from 6 – 9 children. Room based around children selecting a friend and teachers identifying groups. Changes may happen throughout the trip. 24 Hour English Speaking nurse on site, as well as Rustic Pathways First Aiders and DCIS First Aiders. International hospital 15 minutes from camp Bathroom to share between room member with additional ones if necessary. Unlimited bottled water kept in fridge Safe on site (all passports and iPads (optional) to be stored in here for the duration of the trip).

SUVARNABHUMI AIRPORT – SINGAPORE CHANGI AIRPORT Thursday 9 th June (21.20pm) – Landing on Friday 10 th June (00.40am, SINGAPORE TIME) Flight number: 3K514 Parents, please meet in the same spot as drop off, Terminal 1, seating area next to door 1, at 1.15am. Then, please sign out your child from their class teacher. Please understand that there could be slight delays with this time and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. School will be open as normal on Friday 10 th June and children will be expected to attend

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Children can bring up to $100 for spending money. They will be in charge of this and it is your choice on how much they bring. Packs should be sent to parents this week (t-shirt, luggage label, stickers, journal / pen) Children can bring a packed lunch to the airport. Please ensure they have breakfast before they arrive at the airport. They will have an opportunity to buy food and drink at the airport for the flight No phones will be allowed on the trip. Electronics (kindles, iPads) will be allowed for the flights and time at the airport. These are optional items and your decision. We will update the year 6 blogs daily Any urgent information, we will inform parents.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION All staff members will have a phone on them at all times Please ensure all liquid / toiletries over 100ml are in their case. Check airport regulations if necessary. 24 / 7 security on site There are 47 children and 7 members of DCIS staff going, in line with ratio requirements. There will be Rustic Pathways staff working with us throughout the trip. Children will be split into 4 groups of 11/12, selected by DICS staff.
