What is HPV? Human Papillomavirus is the most common sexually transmitted infection in the U.S. Some types can cause health problems, such as genital warts and cancers. In most cases, HPV goes away on it’s own and does not cause health problems.

HPV Cancer Cervical and other cancers, including cancer of the vulva, vagina, penis, or anus. Cancer in the back of the throat, including the base of tongue and tonsils.
