Scholarships and PSI Grade 12's interested in applying to post secondary institutions and for scholarships are invited to attend our start up "Scholarship Team 2016" meeting next Tuesday, Sept. 22 from 7:00 - 8:00 pm in the Bateman round room. Interested in Post Secondary Institution information? If your are a grade 11 or 12 student you are invited with your parents to come here from representatives from BC institutions. This event is for Bateman, Yale and Abby Christian students. It is being hosted by Abby Christian on Thursday, Sept 24th from 6:30 - 8:00 pm.

Costs Ceremonies/Grad fee $40 due Oct. 15 Lock In $75 Fashion Show $10 BBQ/Yearbook signing $5 Prom $100 Optional Merchandise Grad Photos retakes Grad Rings Grad Clothing – ordering available til Sept 30

Grad Lock In This is a 100% Parent Hosted Event. RBSS will book and pay for costs of entertainers, food, prizes (some) etc from Lock In fee. RBSS will have some teachers & all administration to help supervise.

Lock In at a Glance 8-10 AM – student drop RBSS need to be transported to MRC 10:45pm Grads find own transportation to MRC 11pm Arrive MRC/ Security begins 11-4 Food from around the world served to Grads MRC Activity Schedule 11-5 Pool 12-3 Casino 12-3 Magician or Other activity (Cartoonist) 3 Hypnotist 3 Casino Cash Out (Light Breakfast Available???) 4:30 Door Prizes, Casino Wins, Goodie Bags 4:30-5 Clean up 5am Time to go home

Committees Needed Food & Snacks Casino Security Prizes Transportation Hockey Supervision Clean Up

Food & Snacks recommended Needs chief organizer/ chair Plan food and refreshments Where possible canvas community for donations Order food and transport to Seniors Rm MRC Maintain snacks for grads throughout evening Clean up kitchen & seniors room by 6am Budget $1000 We need donations!!!!!!!!!! And helpers

Casino 12 recommended Select chair/ chief organizer Order casino equipment or borrow (F. Prepare & distribute money packages Set up tables and equipment prior to midnight Staff games of chance Cash out at 3am Pack up tables, chairs, and other equipment General clean up of the area, empty garbage etc

Security 12 recommended / 2 per shift Assist with arrival of student from busses Provide security of parking lot and building perimeter

Prizes 5-6 recommended Select chair/ chief coordinator Purchase prizes and canvas for donations Need small and large items Organize prize draws for the end of lock in Coordinate with Casino for winnings $2000 budget Transportation group to take prizes to MRC Any donations would be gladly accepted! Need Volunteer to hand out prizes that evening!!

Transportation 4-6 recommended Check and transport student bags from RBSS to MRC (Can you take prizes as well??) This can occur the morning / afternoon of the lock in Vans or pick up trucks recommended End of evening, transport items back to RBSS

Hockey Supervision hour shifts Observe free skating and hockey to ensure students are participating safely Report concerns to admin Assist with clean up of this area (eg, spills, litter, empty garbage cans)

Clean Up 4:30-5:30am 4-5 recommended Emptying of garbage containers throughout evening Mop up any spills Clean up of tables in concession/ pool deck area Clean up of ice rink, changing area and stands Check change rooms for litter/ discarded clothing Wet mop aerobic room, seniors room, and main hallway

Committee Chairs/ Chief Organizers Coordinate with committee members Ongoing communication with school admin regarding committee progress, budget, payments etc. Debrief of committee for future grads
