Welcome to Back To School Night! Tuesday, September 10 th Mrs. Dana Beck We will get started shortly. While you are waiting, please feel free to do the following: Find your child’s desk. Write your child a note. Read your child’s first day feelings (back wall). Read your child’s Hopes and Dreams (back wall ). Fill out volunteer sheet on your child’s desk. Sign up for a conference time.

If your child is absent… Email the office (Directions on Goodnoe home page) Email me of absence Send a note in with your child on their first day back If your child is absent for multiple days, you may call the office and arrange to pick up the work. Email me to send the work home with a student who lives near by or a sibling Work cannot be given out before it is taught (Before vacations) Overall - do not worry!

Homework Check the Take Home Folder nightly Check homework to make sure it has been completed neatly and carefully One homework page per week – please keep this in your child’s folder 10 Minute Policy
Homework Math pages in workbook Have your child read nightly for 10 minutes and log book or chapter Weekly Journal: can be returned Tues., Wed., or Thurs. *at least 3 sentences: -beginning -middle -end Week long assignments at times
Birthday Celebrations Bring a book from home Donate a book to the classroom Pick a book from the class library
