3. A Day in the life of a Grad
8:20 – approx 11:30 am Rehearsal (you must attend) at UVic Farquhar Auditorium
11:30 – 4: Personal time to prepare and return to UVic.
Personal appointments should not be made before 12:30
There will be a lot of traffic around UVic, please don’t be late.
4:20 pm Return to UVic Farquhar Auditorium.
4:30 pm Grad Group Photo
Cap and Gown
5:00 - 7:30 pm Grad Ceremony

4. Rehearsal is mandatory.
UVic –pay for parking / carpool (have a phone buddy & don’t be late!)
8:20 am Doors open
8:30 am Start precisely – we will start without you
11:30 am Grads will not be dismissed early for appointments
Rehearsal is mandatory.
Students who miss the rehearsal will not be able to participate in the Grad Ceremony.

5. Afternoon 11:30 am to 4:20 pm Personal time
4:30 pm Grad Group Photo (Arrive on time! We cannot wait)
4:45 pm Line up for ceremony
Parents leave photo area and sit in the Theatre
5:00 pm Ceremony begins

6. Dinner Dance and Dry Grad Evening Agenda Saturday, June 15
6:00 – 11:00pm Dinner & Dance (Cadboro Dining Rm, Uvic – ($75)
10:00pm – 3:00am Dry Grad at Pearkes Arena ($60)
Buses start leaving UVic at 9:30
All Students attending Dry Grad must be on the buses.
Students will be released to parent or approved guardian from the Dry Grad – students cannot drive themselves home.
Clothing drop off at the school June 12 &13

7. Important Dates
May 6 – May 24 Dinner Dance & Dry Grad guest applications available in the office (guest applications will not be accepted after May 24th) May 21 – June 7 Dinner Dance ($75) & Dry Grad tickets ($60) on sale at the school (no tickets will be sold beyond this point) June 6 Grad assembly and Magical Mystery Tour

8. Ticket Instructions
TICKET LIMIT: Each graduating student is guaranteed to receive up to 3 audience tickets. Grads will be sitting on the stage and do not need a ticket.
In order to receive your tickets grads must complete the UVic Grad Ceremony Ticket Checklist.
Limit of 3 tickets to ensure each student is guaranteed equal representation at the event.
There is a $2.00 processing fee for each ticket.
Tickets will be ed directly to student’s SD Learn account
Special seating requests can be made on the checklist

9. Extra Tickets
Extra Tickets for the Ceremony will be released on May 20th directly from the UVic Ticket Box Office
Maximum 2 per grad - $12 each
First come, first served basis
Any unsold tickets will be released the morning of Grad Ceremony, June 17.
These tickets must be paid for and picked up in person at the UVic ticket box office. No limit on amount purchased - $12 each.

Ensure your mailing address is correct – the Dogwood Diplomas are mailed out in late August
