2.   Legend says that the Holy Grail was the cup that Jesus used at the Last Supper, then used to collect Jesus’ blood at the crucifixion. The cup was lost in Britian which triggered King Aurther and his knights to search for it, so that Aurther could posses it and use its power for good. Legend of The Holy Grail

3.   The Grail would one day be discovered by descendant of St. Joseph : the best knight in the land, the only man capable of sitting in the mysterious siege Perilous. The son of Lancelot had a vision of the Grail, and the quest began. Also the knights of the Round Table joined the quest. Perceval discovered a castle that was in very bad condition (Corbenic). 4.   Lancelot arrived at Corbenic, he couldn’t enter because he was a an adulterer. Then Galahad arrived, he permitted to enter the Grail Chapel and allowed to gaze upon the Holy Grail. His life was complete and the grail and Galahad rose to heaven. Legend of the Holy Grail
