GLOBAL MARKETING MANAGEMENT INTRODUCTION

WELCOME I am Hudson Rogers and I will be the instructor for this course. Over the next few weeks we will explore the wonderful of International Marketing

Getting to know me! Visit the class Web Board ( ~104 ) and you will learn all about me by reading my biographical sketch. After reading about me, let me (and your classmates) learn about you by posting your bio.

The Class This course will be conducted via the internet. However, you are expected to cover the same materials and have essentially the same learning experience as if you were in a face-to-face setting.

Where should you start? Start by printing and reading the course syllabus. The course syllabus can be found on my home page ( ourses/hrogers/81453/i ndex.htm)

Attendance This class is intended to be taken via the internet. However, on a limited basis, I will meet with you (face- to-face on campus) if that will help with the internet learning process.

Make-Up Policy Assignments will not be accepted late. Weekly web board will generally close on Sunday nights The grade of “Incomplete” reserved for exceptional hardships so you need to keep up with the class.

Week #1 Assignment Go to the course web page and review the Introduction to the Course Review the lecture on Introduction to Global Marketing.

Week #1 Assignment - Cont’d Send an to your instructor letting him know what you expect from the course Post a short bio to the web board Send to classmates Post discussion questions to Web Board

Don’t Know How to Use the Web Board! If you do not know how to use the web board please go to the course web page, click on the “student technical support web site” and work through the short Web Board tutorial.
