POWER DISTANCE (PDI) The first and second scenes Todd wants to live alone in hotel to feel more freedom and relax until he finish has job, Todd said: no actually I think I like to go to my own hotel, tired!”, but Puro told him to live in a guest house, there are a good people there and the host will take care of him because living in hotel is very lonely. In Indian most people live together like one family. While in USA most people live alone, dependence on themselves. Indian is very high power distance with 77%. USA is in low power distance with 40%. (Power Distance Index).

INDIVIDUALISM AND COLLECTIVISM (IDV) The host of guest house is an old woman and she asked Todd many personal question, she asked: "so Mr. Todd what is your father do? are you married?”. He surprised and felt uncomfortable, then he answered: “oh, no not married!”. Also she and Puro told him how people eat in Indian. As they eat with their right hand. Indian people liked to know everything about the family members so they asked a lot of question. Each person have a job in the house. In USA most people don’t like to ask personal question. There are few relationship between people. Indian is collectivism with 48%. USA is Individualism with 91%. (Power Distance Index).

LONG/SHORT TERM ORIENTATION (LTO) When Todd went to work on the first day, he was surprised that a cow was standing inside the building. No one was moving it out, as Indians respect cows in their religion as a group. Todd assistant saw how Todd was surprised but did not realized that he was surprised because of the cow. In USA people are focused in their works away from their religion. Indian is Long term orientation with 61%. USA is Short term orientation with 29%. (Power Distance Index).

UNCERTAINTY AVOIDANCE (UAI) It is the festival of Holi, Puro stick small paper on the door of Todd room, wrote on it “Mr. Todd do not go out today”. Todd didn’t notice the paper and he went to work. He wondered why is no one in the street. Suddenly Puro found him and saved him from a colour ball. Then group of boys threw colour balls on Todd and Puro. They start fight using these balls. Indian and USA people respect their cultural behavior, habits and annual celebrations. They love to be more comfortable and to have some time to rest. Indian and USA are Culture with low level. Indian with 40%. USA is 46%. (Power Distance Index).

MASCULINITY VS. FEMININITY (MAS) In the morning Todd went to work very late because of the festival of Holi. When he went to the office in harry, he surprised that everyone working sincerely and employee Aisha was responsible on them. It’s an example of Feminine society, In Indian, man and women works together side by side. There are many worker women in different places. Also in USA man and women works together but they prefer man to work than women. There some house husband. Indian and USA are Feminine society. Indian with 56%. USA with 62%. (Power Distance Index).
