2 Power Distance (PDI) In this scene Tod and Purohit meet and they introduce themselves to each other using their business cards. Tod asks Purohit to call him by his first name “Tod” but Purohit calls him Sir and Mr Tod. That clearly shows the different applies of Power Distance(Jeffcoat, 2006). In this scene, the high POWER DISTANCE clearly shown in India. India score : 77 high (PDI) It means that less power people accept that power distributed unequally in the society. People normally accept a different hierarchical order. Everyone has a different order and their needs are not justified (itim international, 2015). As in this scene Purohit accept the power distance between him and his manager Tod and keep calling him sir or Mr. In this scene, the lower POWER DISTANCE clearly shown in USA. USA score : 40 lower (PDI)In the USA, American looks for equal power distribution and they call their boss by their own name (itim international, 2015).

3 Individualism vs Collectivism (IDV)
In this scene, Mr. Tod was searching for his office glass? And the Indian man answers not worried “its coming sir” (Jeffcoat, 2006). In this scene, the high Individualism clearly shown in USA. USA score : 91 high (IDV) Means that they value privacy alot and the employee is expected to take care of their selves. Although, Tod used to work alone which gave him more privacy(itim international, 2015). In this scene, the higher Collectivism clearly shown in India. India individualism score : 48 lower (IDV) Means that they have a strong connection and look and take care of each other .And that dont evaluate privacy that much as USA (itim international, 2015).

4 Individualism vs Collectivism (IDV)
In this scene, Tod was complaining about the situation in the office while Purohit is not there. He went to bring clean food for Tod to feel better (Jeffcoat, 2006). In this scene, clearly strong collectivism shown India. As India score in individualism: 48. India has strong relations in the society based on “we” as the group takes care of each other (itim international, 2015). In this scene, clearly shown strong individuality in USA with score :91 As Tod only thinks from “I” perspective he is busy with the work and he expected Purohit to be coaching the employees (itim international, 2015)

5 High Context and Low context Culture
In this scene, Tod was complaining about the situation in the office he said: bro where have you been things going crazy and I keep wondering you spouse to coach this people while Purohit is not there. He went to bring clean food for Tod to feel better (Jeffcoat, 2006). India has a High Context Culture . As a high context culture they have close personal relationships as all workers in the office have strong relationships with each other and there is no privacy. They prefer team work and family activities as examples Tod’s office is without glass and that make him discomfort while them works near each other and without spaces between tables. Also they have strong sense of insiders and outsiders as in the scene Purohit had a sense of Tod that he wasn’t feeling well so Purohit went and brought clean food for him. Last they don’t express for themselves directly as there is no direct eye contact as in the scene when Tod was talking Purohit just lisining without any direct communication with todd (stephan, 2015). USA is a Low Context Culture As a low context culture the privacy is highly valued as he keeps asking for his office glass as he want to have work individually and get his job done . The informality in Tod speaks with Purohit by saying bro. Also in the low context culture there is a focus on result as Tod doesn’t like the time and the accent of the employee when he said “I am from Chicago. Last Tod is direct communicated and expressing hem self clearly ”. (stephan, 2015)

6 Indulgence vs Restraint
In this scene, Aisha chose for Tod a Bollywood tune as a ringtone to be play when she calls. The taxi man noticed the informal way they talked to each other (Jeffcoat, 2006). In this scene, the high Restraint clearly shown in India. India score : 26 in indulgence very low (IND)It means that Indians have strict society roles and they have strong control among their needs and wants as they are under the society observation (itim international, 2015). In this scene, the high indulgence in USA culture score :68. It means that in the USA, they are raised to have their freedom in their relationships and express a joyful way of life and fun (itim international, 2015).

7 Long-term Otientation vs short-term orientation
In this scene, Tod tells Aisha you are free woman and you can do what ever you want then Aisha tells Tod that she is engaged since she was 4 years old and that their family plans their wedding (Jeffcoat, 2006). In this scene, the high long-term Orientation clearly shown in India. India score : 51 higher than USA. In India, long-term orientation shown by the society links their future with past in traditional way. As Aisha will get married according to her family’s plan since she was a kid . Which is similar to the way her parents got married (itim international, 2015). In this scene, the low long-term orientation in USA culture score: 26 . Americans generally don’t believe in tradition, an individual has his own believes to follow. They don’t have planned marriage or getting married from a young age. It just happens without planning when both couples agreed to be marry without any family involvement (itim international, 2015).

8 High Context and Low context Culture
In this scene, Tod tells Aisha you are free woman and you can do what ever you want then Aisha tells Tod that she is engaged since she was 4 years old and that their family plans their wedding (Jeffcoat, 2006). India is a high context culture as they have close relationships, very rare marriages with foreigners. As Aisha will get married in a family planned marriage. (Stephan, 2015). America is a low context culture as they have short term relationships, intermarriage is common as their marriage is not arranged by family its only about the couples themselves. (Stephan, 2015).
