Getting to work immediately Have all your materials  Pen/Pencil  Agenda Log in  Access Bell Work and complete it

Coming to attention Look at the teacher Stop talking, working, and moving Listen for instructions Continue working when instructed

Asking a question or participating in class discussions Wait to be called on Ask your question or give your comment at the appropriate time Random selection

Getting materials without disturbing others Quietly walk directly to where the materials are located Get your materials Return directly to your seat Continue work

Indicating whether you understand Read the instructions again See three before you see me If you don’t understand, raise your hand, wait to be called on, then ask your question

Saying “Thank you, please and yes sir or ma’am” Look the person in the eye who you are speaking to Say “thank you,” followed by the person’s name Being polite is a choice we all should make daily, respecting one another Smile

End of class dismissal The teacher dismisses the class, not the clock or the bell Put your materials away We will dismiss one row at a time. Exit quietly

When a school-wide announcement or class page is made Stop talking, walking and/or working Listen to the announcement Then continue working quietly
