3. Entering the Classroom
- Put away phones and headphones
- Enter quietly and politely
- Don't interrupt other students
- Quietly have a seat

4. Tardy Procedure - Knock on the door and wait for me to open it

5. Call to Attention - When I need your attention, I will raise my hand
- As soon as you see the signal, stop what you are doing, look at me, and listen for directions.

6. As soon as you get a paper, print your first and last names, the date, and your period at the top on the right-hand side.

7. Turning in Assignments
- Make sure your assignment is properly labeled
- Place your paper upside down in the "finished work" basket.

8. “Free” Time Read a book Write a story Draw a lesson-related picture
If you finish an assignment, first work on any unfinished assignments
When you finish those, you may choose to:
Read a book
Write a story
Draw a lesson-related picture
Work on a research project
“Free” Time

9. - If I am not teaching the whole group, put up the peace sign to let me know you have to go
- If I say "no," wait for a better class time
- If I nod, take the pass, sign it with your name, date and time, and leave the room quietly
- Return to class promptly.

10. Class Dismissal - Clean off your desk
- Pick up any trash within three feet of your desk
- Move your desk to how you found it
- Wait quietly to be dismissed by me.

11. Missing Work Procedure
- If for any reason you miss a class or assignment;
- Check website for missing work and instructions.
- If further help is needed please see me between classes or after school.
