How will students be assessed? Grades will be based on the following categories: Class work (group work, and presentations) Tests and Quizzes (vocabulary quizzes, novel quizzes, unit tests) Homework (reader’s response notes/logs, vocabulary, and misc. homework) Writing (Essays, Creative Writing) One Extra Credit assignment will be offered each quarter.
