Monday Schedule 1.Enter Classroom Quietly and get out green science folder 2.A “Do Now” question found on the desk will be answered using complete sentences in green science notebooks, while Mrs. P. or a student leader passes out folders. Pink hearts to the most on-task table. 3.Look at homework board, open agenda, and write in assignments for the week. 4.Captain checks agendas. 5.Class checks the daily agenda board for today. 6.Sing 7.Drama or Science in the News 8.Quiet review of “Do Now” and sharing of answers by table captains. Mrs. P. will review answers and students will correct them in writing as needed. 9.Gopher picks up enough of the papers on table 5 for everyone at the table as applicable. If packets are assembled they stay in the folder until Friday. Papers for absentees at the table should be deposited in their folder by the table secretary. 10.Captain reads directions verbally as students read along silently (3 minutes) 11.Get to work on assignment independently or in pairs as instructed. 12.Good group work monitored by Captain/ teachers. 13.Review and wrap up group work ten minutes before class ends 14.Groups place class-work at end of table (or packet back in folder) and noise controller deposits it in the teacher in box. 15.Students get notebook out. 16.Students write a “two minute summary of class” quietly with music at end of class. 17.Begin homework if time allows.

Thursday Schedule 1.Enter Classroom Quietly 2.Captain reads directions (on screen) to the game to other students as they read along quietly. Game Day-- academic olympics, bingo, pictionary, treasure hunt, or other science game (web search) 3.Class checks the daily agenda board for today 4.Sing 5.Students lead game according to a 1-6 schedule. 6.Captain monitors table. 7.Review and clean up of game ten minutes before class ends as monitored by timer. 8.Groups place game pieces at end of table. 9.Packets are extracted from folders and important parts that are on the quiz are highlighted as teacher guides them. Students bring the packet home for use as a study guide. 10.Students get cootie catchers out and play for five minutes. 11.Begin homework (study) if time allows.

Friday Agenda 1.Enter Classroom Quietly while video news clip of the topic plays. 2.Folder person distributes folders. 3.Class checks the daily agenda board for today 4.Sing 5.Review drama if applicable. 6.Clay, sand, or dirt models of the weeks topic will be used for review if applicable. 7.A book survey or quiz will be distributed to students. They will be completed quietly and individually with background music. 8.At times a film and a movie review will take the place of the survey/ quiz. 9.Surveys and or quizzes will be corrected together using a correcting pen ten minutes before class ends as monitored by timer. 10.Students turn in quizzes, and folders are placed at end of table. 11.Folder collector files folders in baskets. 12.Tables are cleaned by period 7 class. 13.On the last Friday of the month the store will be open.
