Accessing the internet at School Using your iPad on your home network, download the iDET Wi-Fi profile from the school’s website. school’s website. Once you get to school your device will automatically find and connect to the network. You will be prompted to enter your username and password before accessing the internet. If your child does not know their school username and password, they will be provided it at the beginning of the school year.

Which iPads are compatible? Original iPads not compatible. All other versions currently are. What size should you get? A 16GB iPad may become filled quickly if a student captures a lot of video, installs large quantities of personal music and applications and may interfere with the storage requirements for school use as the full 16GB of storage may be required by some classes These personal items may need to be backed up regularly or removed if space has run out. A 32GB or 64GB iPad will future proof the device.
