LATE WORK, HOMEWORK, & DISCIPLINARY POLICIES

English Dept. policy allows for the teacher to assess a 10% deduction per each class day the work is overdue.

LATE WORK Mrs. Setliff’s Policy: Students should talk to me BEFORE an assignment is late! If there is a good reason for the late work I will take that into consideration in extending deadlines.

LATE WORK 10% reduction on the earned score for major assignments (e.g. projects, papers, tests). 50% reduction for practice homework. If the homework is for an in-class lesson, you will not be able to turn in late work for any credit.

LATE WORK Assignments that are late will be given a Z in the online Clarity grading book (meaning that the student has earned 0% because the work has not been turned in.) That Z will be changed once the work has been turned in and graded.

LATE WORK At the end of a quarter, if a student has a Z for an assignment that Z will remain a 0% and will factor into the student’s G.P.A.

DISCIPLINARY POLICY 1 st Time: Guideline infractions and late homework will result in an infraction notice that must be signed, dated, and given back to me.
