| 2 NON-Export Controlled Information Data Comm Trials Automation Platform (DTAP) installed at MEM and EWR towers supporting the DCL Trials project –MEM tower was installed prior to Harris DCIS award –EWR tower was installed under Harris tasking on DCIS DCL Trials are complete No later than 31 Jan 2016 DTAP and supporting systems to be removed from operational towers after Trials Tech Center system scheduled to remain in place at this time Background

| 3 NON-Export Controlled Information DTAP/ DCL Trials Decommissioning Plan Site Surveys: Complete Set dates: Complete Identify teams: Complete Coordinate termination of service with each tower: Informal complete Inform stakeholders at DCIT (September) Coordinate Network/Facilities EOS dates and actions: –FEP termination-Complete, requires to FEP desk (31 Jan) –HADDS termination- Requires when ready (No impact to ERAM) –FTI termination orders- Complete for dates set –Facilities documentation- Not required (Confirmed) Send out a termination of DCL Trials message to stakeholders Schedule technician to assist in the disassembly at each site Team meets and arrives on site, coordinates with tower and follows procedures and SME guidance to remove the system

| 4 NON-Export Controlled Information Service End Date and Decommissioning Team KEWR DTAP DCL Service End Date: 2359Z 14 Jan 2016 –DCNS service volume activation is scheduled for 15 Jan –Planned removal of equipment Jan (18 th is a federal Holiday) KMEM DTAP DCL Service End Date: 2359Z 31Jan 2016 –Planned removal of equipment 3-4 Feb Team –FAA Trials lead (Matt Maki) Coordination with Tower, manage disruptions/relations Assist in disassembly (voluntary) –Harris Trials lead (Michael Earl) Assist in disassembly and packing Responsible for the conduct of the decommissioning activities –Technical Expert (Craig Morris) Provide technical expertise on system removal Assist in disassembly (voluntary) –Harris Technician (Tim Spain MEM, Ralph Walker EWR) Assist in disassembly and packing

| 6 NON-Export Controlled Information Power Down, Disconnect, Disassemble and Ship Overview –In the tower cab, work to be performed during off peak hours and on a not to interfere basis –Power down the affected systems All active channels will be disabled prior to removal –Disconnect all cabling, connections and power (Label cable ends that are to remain) –Disassemble equipment as required –Clean up areas around system Disposal –Create shipping documents –Crate and itemize components (inventory) –Ship components FAA equipment will be sent to WJHTC, avionics lab Accessories supplied by Thane will be sent to Thane in DC Cabling/wire disposition and circuits –Remove excess cabling For cables requested to remain, tag both ends

| 7 NON-Export Controlled Information Other DTAP CSP Connectivity to WJHTC –Upon completion of the DCL Trials, the DTAP at the WJTHC will no longer be connected to ARINC and SITA for testing Delivery locations of field hardware –FAA equipment will be sent to WJHTC, avionics lab –Accessories supplied by Thane will be sent to Thane in DC –Equipment owned by the FAA and requested by the Tower to remain in place (varies at each tower) will be transferred Matt Maki to facilitate Any waste material will be disposed of properly
