RGF 5500 Advanced Topics The Basic Steps to Electronic Filing

 To start electronic filing go to the Electronic Filing utility RGF 5500 Advanced Topics

 This opens the electronic filing dialog box

RGF 5500 Advanced Topics  First, select the data directory where your files are located, the files in the directory will then be displayed at the top of the dialog box

RGF 5500 Advanced Topics  Now select the file or files by clicking on each file (hold the CTRL button down when selecting multiple files)

 Select the Sign option in the Action section and click on Go RGF 5500 Advanced Topics

 All of the signers that are listed in the filings you have selected will be shown in the signing dialog.

RGF 5500 Advanced Topics  Enter the User ID and PIN for the signers that you get from EFAST and click OK.

 Before we can transmit the plan we need to enter our transmitter credentials we have received from EFAST. Click on the Add button.

RGF 5500 Advanced Topics  To transmit the plan simply select the plan or plans from the list, select Transmit from the dropdown list at the bottom of the dialog and click on Go.

RGF 5500 Advanced Topics  We are prompted for a file name and location for the transmission report PDF file. You can accept the default name or give it a name you prefer. It will be saved in the default data folder or wherever you like. Click OK to save the file.

RGF 5500 Advanced Topics  After click on OK we are prompted to view the saved PDF which will automatically open in your PDF viewing application.
