Presentation transcript:

You said – we did How we’ve listened to

You said, we did We’ve been listening: –Patient Congress –Health Engagement Network –Public engagement –Surveys –Focus groups –Feedback from other organisations –Comments, complaints and compliments –‘soft’ intelligence

You said, we did All this information and opinion has been collated and used to influence our Strategic Plan – so thank you!

You said, we did ‘Fit 4 the Future’ – working with members of the public to understand what they think needs to happen to meet the expected surge in demand for older people’s services.

You said, we did Older peoples’ services and more nurses – ensuring people receive care as close as possible to home, and putting in place appropriate support for people when they come out of hospital.

You said, we did Improving mental health services for our patients – long-term service improvement project, including a Place of Safety for Whitby, and holding surgeries across the area for people to feed back about the services they receive.

You said, we did Helping acutely ill patients – a specialist critical care outreach team has been set up at The Friarage in Northallerton to support clinical staff to care for acutely ill patients. Working in partnership – now working more closely with North Yorkshire County Council, jointly investing in a project to bring together teams of district nurses, social care mental health and intermediate care staff to make sure patient care is effectively joined up.

You said, we did Commissioning IVF – The CCG is commissioning IVF services to the same criteria that NHS England use nationally where they commission services directly for armed forces personnel and their families.

You said, we did Other successes: Finances Community defibrillators Primary care investment Soft Intelligence Tool Looking ahead – Our Strategic Plan Maternity & Paediatrics
