3 FSD Network Level 3 Accreditation FSD Network Level 3 Accreditation Integrated Care Alliance FSD This facilitates delivery of ‘Salford’s Integrated Care Programme’, a collaborative programme intended to integrate health & social care for the population of Salford. AIMS OF SALFORD’S INTEGRATED CARE PROGRAMME 1.To establish greater collaboration between primary, community, acute and social care for older people and other segments of the adult population. 2.To ensure that integrated, high quality, affordable and sustainable health and social care services are delivered in the most appropriate way 3.Short term goal of reducing service duplication and waste & longer term aim of securing greater population health & thereby reducing future service demand

4 FSD Network Level 3 Accreditation FSD Network Level 3 Accreditation Integrated Care Alliance FSD Development of a joint FSD Leads meeting with Salford Royal FT, Salford CCG, Greater Manchester West & incorporating Salford City Council AIMS OF FSD ALLIANCE 1.To look at how the different sectors & different organisations in the Salford Health & Social Care economy can share good practice in terms of how finance staff are developed 2.Understand how the different finance functions operate so we can provide a finance function fit for purpose for the challenges of the integrated care agenda 3.Develop a more consistent joint approach to finance staff development 4.Visible presence & increased links within each organisation

5 FSD Network Level 3 Accreditation FSD Network Level 3 Accreditation Integrated Care Alliance FSD NEXT STEPS 1.Develop a rotational training programme so that staff from each Partner organisation can experience working across all finance functions 2.Extend the programme out to experience the clinical / operational side of each organisation within the integrated care arena 3.Proposed a formal joint role across the 3 NHS organisations, spending a specified period of time in each organisation 4.Develop a consistent training & development policy across the Alliance 5.Spend time in each organisation to experience partner approaches to FSD & develop shared best practice
