Romeo & Juliet By: Tavaya Gibson English Period 5

Prologue In the prologue I think they are trying to say that they come form different backgrounds. If they be together it will be war. They loved each other but it would have caused death.

Act 1,Scene 1 In this scene Benvolio makes the street fight erupt. Because the Montague and Capulet fight another fight will result in the punishment of a sentence of death. This fight occurs in the streets of Verona.

Act 1, Scene 2 This scene is about Paris wanting to marry Juliet. Romeo talks about his unhappiness in love.

Act 1,Scene 3 This scene is about the nurse and Lady Capulet talking.

Act 1,Scene 4 This scene is about Romeo going to Capulet party. Romeo got an invite to the party accidentally because the servant couldn’t read. Romeo see’s Juliet there and they start to like each other.

Act 1, Scene 5 This scene is about Romeo and Juliet are at the party. They are looking for each other and when they find each other Romeo kisses Juliet. Juliet and the nurse talk about Romeo.

Act 2, Prologue The prologue is about Romeo no longer has love for Rosaline. Romeo has found love and someone loves him in return. They put their difficulties aside and now are in love.

Act 2, Scene 1 This scene is about how Romeo leaves the party and he hides from his cousin. They try to find him. He climbed up the wall and then hides in the tress.

Act 2, Scene 2 This scene is about Juliet’s concern that Romeo wont love her because she is a Capulet. Romeo swears his love with gracious life. Juliet tells Romeo to send her his word of love the day after they were on the balcony.

Act 2, Scene 3 This scene is about how Tybalt sent Romeo a letter challenging him to duel. But Mercutio and Benvolio replied back saying Romeo was dead because he gat struck by cupids arrow but he didn’t. he didn’t return home the previous night.

Act 2, Scene 4 In this scene Juliet sends the nurse to meet Romeo. When the nurse returns she tells Juliet that Romeo is waiting for her at Friar Lawrence’s cell to marry her. Then the nurse exits to go meet Romeo’s servant because he is bringing a ladder for Romeo to climb up to Juliets chamber and consummate their marriage.

Act 2, Scene 5 In this scene Romeo and Juliet me in Friar Lawrence's cell to be married. They speak poetically to one another and then they exit as a married couple.
