2 Act 1, Prologue This scene takes place at the beginning of act 1 The chorus is the only one in this scene. Talks about the nobility of the two families

3 Act 1, Scene 1 Takes place early morning in a public square in Verona Sampson, Gregory, Abram, Benvolio and Tybalt are in this scene The Capulets and the Montague’s are fighting each other and the prince says that if they fight again then they will pay with their lives

4 Act 1, Scene 2 The scene takes place in the afternoon in a street near Capulet’s house in verona. Romeo, Juliet, and the Nurse are the people in this scene The scene ends when Romeo and Juliet are talking and setting up where to meet for tomorrow.

5 Act 1, Scene 3 This scene takes place in Capulet’s house just before the feast. Lady Capulet, Juliet, the Nurse,and Paris are in this scene The scene ends with Juliet like looking at Paris.

6 Act 1, Scene 4 This scene takes place later in the evening in Verona Romeo, Benvolio, and mercutio are in this scene. This scene ends with Romeo thinking that he is going to die.

7 Act 1, Scene 5 This scene takes place at Capulet’s party later in the evening Romeo, Juliet, Tybalt, Benvolio, and the Nurse are in this scene. The scene ends when Romeo finds out Juliet is a Capulet.

8 Act 2, Prologue This scene takes place at the beginning of act 2. The chorus is in this scene. Chorus talks about how Romeo and Juliet love each other but are from different families.

9 Act 2, Scene 1 This scene takes place later the same night outside the wall that surrounds Capulet’s orchard. Romeo, Benvolio, and Mercutio are in this scene. The scene ends when Mercutio and Benvolio are teasing Romeo.

10 Act 2, Scene 2 This scene takes place immediately after the next scene in Capulet’s orchard. Romeo, Juliet, and the nurse are in this scene. Romeo and Juliet are kissing on the balcony and setting up times and places to meet.

11 Act 2, Scene 3 This scene takes place early in the morning in Friar Lawrence’s cell Romeo and the Friar are the only people in the scene. The scene ends when Romeo tells the Friar that he’s going to marry Juliet.

12 Act 2, Scene 4 This scene takes place at nine o’clock in the morning in a street in Verona Benvolio, Mercutio, Romeo, Peter, and the Nurse are in this scene Romeo tells the Nurse to tell Juliet that Romeo wants to marry her and they are to meet in Frair Lawrence’s cell.

13 Act 2, Scene 5 This scene takes place later in the day at Capulet’s orchard. Juliet and the Nurse are the only two people in this scene. This scene ends with the Nurse telling Juliet that the wedding shall be held in Friar Lawrence’s cell.

14 Act 2, Scene 6 This scene takes place in Friar Lawrence’s cell Romeo, Juliet, and the Friar are in this scene Romeo and Juliet get married.

15 Act 3, Scene 1 This scene takes place in the streets of Verona. Mercutio and Tybalt fight and Romeo tries to break it up and tybalt seizes the moment and kills Mercutio. Romeo fights with Tybalt and ends up killing him and Romeo gets banished for murder.

16 Act 3, Scene 2 This scene takes place at Capulet’s house. Juliet finds out that Romeo got banished and Tybalt is dead. Juliet is sad for both Romeo and Tybalt.

17 Act 3, Scene 3 Juliet longs for Romeo. Juliet realizes that Romeo and Tybalt were fighting. She finds out that Romeo had killed Tybalt.

18 Act 3, Scene 4 This scene takes place in Capulet’s house. They are preparing for the wedding between Juliet and Paris. Peter gets into a fight with the musician because he won’t play the song he wants

19 Act 4, Scene 1 This scene takes place in Friar Lawrence’s cell Paris is trying to comfort Juliet thinking that she is sad for Tybalt but in reality she is sad for Tybalt and Romeo Juliet gets sleeping potion from the Friar

20 Act 4, Scene 2 This scene takes place back at Capulet’s house Capulet and Lady Capulet are preparing for the wedding.

21 Act 4, Scene 3 This scene takes place in Juliet’s bedchamber. Juliet takes the sleeping potion

22 Act 4, Scene 4 Everyone is preparing for the wedding. The cooks are trying to get all the food and preparations ready for the wedding

23 Act 4, Scene 5 The Nurse finds Juliet in her room She thinks Juliet is dead and begins to cry Everyone is sad for Juliet and the Friar tries to calm them down.

24 Act 5, Scene 1 Romeo is in his exiled town of Mantua Romeo wants to buy poison from The Apothecary At first he refuses but he eventually sells it to him

25 Act 5, Scene 2 Friar Lawrence sent a letter to Friar John to give to Romeo Friar John can’t give it to Romeo because he was quarantined Romeo killed himself because he thought Juliet was dead

26 Act 5, Scene 3 Juliet wakes up and finds Romeo and Paris dead The Friar suggests to Juliet that she should become a Nun. Juliet kisses Romeo and then takes his dagger and kills herself.
