Being Independent! We changed into PE kits for the first time this week! It took nearly 30 minutes with 3 adults helping them! Reading Each child will be bringing home a reading record. We will record which book your child is bringing home. Please add your own comments when you read at home with your child.

Homework is used to consolidate the pupils learning. Each half term, we will be sending home a ‘Homework Grid.’ It will include activities linked to our topic theme and different subject areas. We expect that our parents will support their child in the completion of homework activities. They can be completed in any order. A quiet, learning environment is encouraged. The children have daily phonics sessions in Reception. During these sessions the children practise reading and writing new sounds (phonemes). We will be sending home information about the sounds covered each week and activities linked to this.

Uniform, jewellery, valuables  Correct school uniform.  Hair should be tied back.  Clothing and equipment should be clearly named.  Jewellery/ valuables should not be brought to school.  We go outside in all weather so please make sure your child has appropriate clothing. Lost Property!
