3 Independence and Organisation In Year 3 the children will be expected to show a greater level of independence at school, following the Golden Rules in school and in the playground. Your child should return their homework on Tuesday.

5 Rewards and Sanctions Dojos & Raffle Tickets – for good work, good behaviour and reading at home to an adult Class cup and Outstanding Neatness Award – individual award for going ‘above and beyond’ the Golden Rules & producing a ‘Wow’ moment Golden Time – reward for good behaviour and organisational skills but minutes can be lost for not following the Golden Rules.

6 Holidays Our school year is incredibly busy and your child will miss a huge amount if taken out of school during term time. 13 Sharing Your Child’s Targets In November, targets will be given to you in writing during your parents’ evening meeting and you will be able to look at your child’s books to share their learning. In January, you will be invited to come into your child’s class after school to share with him/her the learning recorded in the books and receive the latest targets. In March, the latest targets will be recorded on the annual written report. You are welcome to come in with your child to share your child’s learning at this time.
