Advice about reading in English 1.Don’t stop reading when you come to a word you don’t know. 2.Don’t write the meaning of the word in your own language above the word that you don’t know. 3.Don’t try to understand everything the first time you read a story. (Get the gist or the general idea first) (Second time: Mark the text) 4. Don’t wait until the last minute.
