31 2. give sb. sth. = give sth. to sb. 给我一些建议 key points give me some advice We advised them to start early. 1.advice 表示 “ 建议, 忠告 ”, 是不可数名词,要 表示 “ 一条建议 ”, 应用 a piece of advice ; “ 采 纳某人的建议 ” follow/take one’s advice 。 注意 advice 的动词是 advise ,常用词组为 advise sb. to do sth. 。 e.g 我们建议他们及早开始。

32 2. I’m going to give you some advice. advice 意为 “ 劝告,建议 ” 。为不可数名词, 没有复数形式。 give advice to sb 意为 “ 给某人提建议 ” 例: Ms James gave us ____________ on how to learn English. A. some advices B. many advices C. some advice D. an advice C 另外,若说 “ 一条建议;一个忠告 ” 可用 a piece of advice 来表示, 但 “ 两条建议 ” 则要说 two pieces of advice 3. 34 key points mistakes mistake 可用作可数名词,意思是 “ 错误,过失 ” 。 记住下面的词组: make mistakes 或 make a mistake 犯错误; by mistake 错误地 其他的什么 what else else 意为 “ 别的 ” ,常修饰不定代词、疑问代词或 疑问副词,位于修饰词之后。 如: What else=What other things
