6.  The career pathway that I chose is Business, Management, Marketing, and Technology. I chose this pathway because it deals with some of my favorite things. Computers, customer service, and money just to name a few. The career I picked in this field is a computer programmer. My goal is to earn a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, and eventually open my own computer programming firm. The school I chose to attend to complete my goal is Eastern Michigan University. While here I will earn a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science. This will give me the tools that I need to complete my long-term goals. To attend this university there is a $17, 063 per year fee. 7.  What I Know! I already have a few skills that will help me be successful in my computer programming career. I am skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). I have great math skills as well. I also have excellent communication skills (listening, written, verbal and interpersonal). These skills will give me a foundation for my career and ensure that I know the basics about the computer world.  What I Need To Work On… Some skills that I need to work on to help me succeed in my career are patience. I also have to work on my time management in order to get tasks done more effectively.
