What do you expect from the job? )

Reading two : Main idea The passage talks about how to be paid for the job of your dreams. It gives examples of three people who succeeded in doing the jobs that suited their skills. The first became a career consultant. The second became a matchmaker. The third became a skydiving teacher. The three people got their ideal jobs or their dream jobs.

Style: The sentence: An English sentence must have : a subject and a verb. Faisal is a doctor. In commands we don’t use a subject. A command starts with a verb and the subject is always “you” but it isn’t written. Open the door. A subject can be : one word or many words: They They met their friends yesterday. ( one word ) Maha and Mona Maha and Mona are friends. ( many words ) A subject cannot be repeated: Marwa she came late. ( Wrong X ) Marwa came late. ( Correct ) The first letter of the first word in an English sentence must be written in capital letter. He He speaks English.

Grammar : Descriptive and Possessive Adjectives Descriptive adjectives: smart. They describe a noun. He is smart. nice They can come before a noun. She is a nice girl. We use “ a / an” before adjectives if they are followed by a singular noun ( count nouns) He’s an interesting person. a good It’s a good news. ( Wrong X ) It’s good news. ( Correct ) We don’t use “a / an” when adjectives aren’t followed by nouns. But Dina is beautiful. But ( Dina is a beautiful girl. )

Possessive adjectives: They show belonging. My My job is very interesting. A noun always follows a possessive adjective. His car His car is new. We don’t use “ a / an / the” with possessive adjectives. It’s her book. Possessive adjectives have the same form before singular or plural nouns. Your Your car is new. Your Your cars are new.
