REGISTRATION EPFASTPITCH.COM January 4 - February 19 Uniforms All players will receive: jersey, pants, and socks Sizing and ordering will be done at tryouts

PROGRAM UPDATES Coaches Head Coaches - Paid or Parent Assistant Coaches - Parent Athletic Policy – found on our website under league policies Concussion Awareness training – required by MN Law Playing Time Guidelines Participation fees Team registration fees based on Age/Level of Play Additional $25 non-refundable try-out fee 10U Team Focus on development of skills – pitching and catching

VOLUNTEER COMMITMENTS New Volunteer Process this year: Once assigned to a travel team, you will be assigned to a minimum of 3 volunteer shifts (approximately 4 hours per shift). Shifts will include: 2 Concessions and/or field maintenance shifts at Miller Park Weekend Tournaments 1 Weeknight concession stand shift

VOLUNTEER COMMITMENTS If you choose to opt out of all volunteer commitments, a $200 fee is due at registration If you do not opt out of volunteer commitments, a $200 check is due at first team-parent meeting. Check will be held until all volunteer commitments have been met. For any volunteer shift that is missed, your $200 check will be cashed.

WINTER CLINICS FREE Pitching & Catching on Sunday nights February: 8, 15, 22 March: 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 April: 5, 12

2015 SEASON Try-outs: February 21 & 22 Two day try-out format Players evaluated by MN Fastpitch Academy Pitchers and Catchers Team formation will be communicated no later than March 6. Make-up Try-out: February 14, pm, EPHS Dome Written request and approval needs to be obtained from travel commissioner

2015 SEASON Tournaments Teams will play in 2 to 4 Invitational Tournaments, plus the State Qualifier and State Tournament 10U & 12U State Qualifier is June 26 – 28; State Tournament is July 10 – 12.

2015 SEASON Tournaments National tournaments – EP Fastpitch expects our teams to go to the best tournament possible EP Fastpitch tournament reimbursements: $0 for metro area tournaments $100 per player for in-state tournaments over 65 miles from Eden Prairie $300 per player for out of state tournaments – Team pays coach expenses

TRAVEL PLAYER & PARENT EXPECTATIONS Sportsmanship Eden Prairie leads by example at all times Attend all practices and games Attend all tournaments, especially state and national tournaments Tell us your conflicts when registering Most tournaments are not yet posted so we cannot tell you when a team is playing in a tournament

Parent / Coach Interaction 24 hour rule Communication is best in person or on phone – not by Same expectations for all parents and players Playing time guidelines for team levels
