Deadline for ordering is April 8th, 2019 High School Softball Clinic ALL WELCOME – Invite a friend April 11 – 5:30PM until 7:30PM Pizza and dessert will be provided BAC Night at Burnsville High School – Wear your Jersey April 30, 2019 Sponsorship is DUE May 1, 2019 Big West League starts May 7th/10U May 8th/12U May 21st/14U Burnsville High School Softball Fields Inclement Weather – watch for updates on location May 10, 2019 10U Yellow 6:00PM -6:20PM 10U Black 6:20PM – 6:40PM 12U 6:40PM – 7:00PM 14U 7:00PM – 7:20PM Fireball Tournament May

6 Equipment for 2019 season The following items are required: (not provided by club) Equipment Fastpitch Bat, must have 1.20 “thumbprint” Glove Batting Helmet with face mask and strap Cleats – non-metal unless 14u or older Infielders & pitchers – face mask Uniform Jerseys –Extra Jersey can be purchased at CAGEAR Solid Black softball pants Socks determined by team These following equipment items are optional: Catchers - catchers helmet, catchers glove, chest protector, and shin pads (These items provided by Burnsville Traveling Softball if needed) Batting gloves

7 Spring Practice (10U, 12U & 14U)
Indoor Practice in April 12U & 14U will practice on Tuesday’s at Cedar School 10U will practice on Friday’s at Cedar School 5:30-7:30PM Optional team practices can be at a cage for hitting practice *may require additional costs Outdoor practice in April Do not practice on fields until clear from City of Burnsville/Savage Burnsville Heights, Blackdog, Burnsville High School Burnsville High School needs to be raked after each practice/game

8 Volunteer Requirements
4 hours REQUIRED at Burnsville Fireball 4 additional Club hours during season Many opportunities to fulfill your hours! Winter clinics (thank you!) IPE’s (thank you!) NEED: Club End of the year Picnic – 2 people to lead Additional shifts during the Fireball Sponsorship Coordinator – 2 hours $150 volunteer deposit will be collected during team breakout sessions – 1 per family Will be destroyed when volunteer hours are fulfilled

2019 Co-Tournament Directors: Jeremy Krumwiede & Andrew Bacon 36 Confirmed teams between all levels – We will host up to 44 teams for the tournament We need : 1- Field Maintenance Coordinator for the weekend 1- Assistant Tournament Director to move to Tournament Director for 2020 season These spots secure your 8 volunteer requirements for the program for the 2019 year! Volunteer Information: Volunteer slots can be filled by Parents, responsible teenagers ages 14 and over for concessions, other family or friends. There is no opt-out option – you need to work or find someone to fill your spot If you have a teenager willing to get paid for volunteering, we will have a sign up at the front and this sheet will be sent out to the club to reach out to these individuals. Sign up for volunteer positions will be done online and will be on a first come-first served basis Website will allow you to see other volunteers, their timeslots and provide opportunities for you to switch timeslots with others if necessary. Positions available will be: Set-up, Concessions, Field Maintenance, Griller, Clean-up.

10 2019 FUNdraising Minimum Requirement to sell: 20 Total
Sell 40 : Long-sleeve tee-shirt Sell 50 : Name in drawing for $100 Cash Buyout Option: $150 Buyout check must be turned in TONIGHT Heggies Sell April 1 – April 22 Turn in Form April 23rd Pick up – May 7 Butter Braids

11 SPONSORSHIP Each team will be required to have sponsor(s) equaling $500/per team Due by May 1, 2019 1 Sponsor Coordinator per team – 2 non-tournament volunteer hours will go towards coordinating efforts in gaining and collecting sponsors for the team (Volunteer Identified tonight) Pick up Sponsorship Letter from Coordinator Tax-Deductible Donation Got Questions: Shannon Baker will HELP!

Katie Watson Parent/Guardian, Coach and every player must have a code of conduct signed tonight in your breakout session and turned into your coach
