Moodboard is a type of poster design that may consist of images, text, and samples of objects in a composition of the choice of the mood board creator. Designers and others use mood boards to develop their design concepts and to communicate to other members of the design team.  Architecture  Advertising  Branding  Interior Design  Graphic Design  Fashion Design  Interface design  Game design  Website design  Marketing communication (commercials)  Movie  Storyboard  Painting  Fashion  Music  Photography

 Mood boards can also be used to visually explain a certain style of writing, or an imaginary setting for a storyline. Creating mood boards in a digital form may be easier and quicker, but physical objects often tend to have a higher impact on people because of the more complete palette of sensations physical mood boards offer, in contrast with the black & white or colour-prints of a digital mood board.

 All (Pass): Will research three similar products/services outlining the majority of research points  Most (Merit): Will research four similar products/services outlining the majority of research points  Some (Distinction): Will Will research five similar products/services outlining all of research points

Research points to consider:  Where they are located  Target audience  Variety of products/services  Packages they offer  Where they advertise (specific publications, internet, catwalks, facebook etc…)  Seasonal products/services  Prices  Unique selling points  Promotional offers

As you know you will be mainly marked on your ability to work:  Independently  To professional standards  Creativity and flair I I smell an assessment coming on…
