PLEASE……….. Do not move any of the chairs from the tables.

You made it to 8 th grade! Now what?

I am a product of Anderson 1 schools. I graduated from Wren, but I’m a Mustang now!

I have been married to the world’s best husband, Greg, for almost 16 years. We have two kids; Adam and Mary Alice. Adam is in 9 th grade. Mary Alice is in 3 rd.

I attended Winthrop University where I majored in Biology.

I am a Georgia fan! HOWEVER,

Pictures to share!

There you will have the choice to A. Read or B. Work on HW. If you are doing A or B, you may listen to your music. If you are not working on A or B, you must sit quietly. You may not have your phone out unless you have headphones plugged in and is not in your hand.

WHEN THE TEACHER TALKS, YOU DON’T. (We don’t want her to look like this!)

If you choose to not complete your work, then I choose to take your free time. Example: Lunchtime Learning Example: Staying in during morning tutoring or after school detention with me while completing your work.

Late Work Any work not completed on time, including tests, will receive a 10% penalty. Second chance retests count as late work. Algebra and Honors ELA need to follow the guidelines on their syllabus. This will not affect people who are out sick and have a valid excuse.

In here, all talking had better relate to the subject or be introduced by me. Save your personal conversations for the hallway, lunchroom, and recess. Gossip is not a good idea. I do not want to hear about what happened in another class, on the bus, in the hall, etc…

I will hold up my hand – you may finish your sentence, but then stop talking and pay attention. If I start counting, then stop before I get to three. Please, also raise your hand before speaking.

ALWAYS BE ON TIME AND SIT IN YOUR ASSIGNED SEAT. ENTER THE ROOM QUIETLY. SHARPEN PENCILS AND GET READY TO BEGIN WORKING. KEEP ALL 4 CHAIR LEGS ON THE FLOOR WHEN YOU COME IN THE ROOM, YOU MUST STAY IN THE ROOM-no exceptions.

INAPPROPRIATE ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED.

BRING ALL NEEDED BOOKS AND MATERIALS TO CLASS.

Stay alert, but remember to work quietly!

LISTEN WHEN SOMEONE ELSE IS TALKING.

KEEP ALL HANDS, FEET, OBJECTS AND INAPPROPRIATE COMMENTS TO YOURSELF

FOLLOW DIRECTIONS THE FIRST TIME THEY ARE GIVEN.

PERSONAL GROOMING IS UNACCEPTABLE IN CLASS.

1. VERBAL WARNING. 2.CONFERENCE/DEMERITS 3. PHONE CALL OR LETTER HOME FOLLOWED BY A PARENT CONFERENCE IF NECESSARY. 4. OFFICE WRITE-UP.

THE CLOCK, OR BELL, DOES NOT DISMISS YOU I DO - WAIT UNTIL PERMISSION IS GIVEN.

Car Riders Dismissed at 3:00. You go to your locker then and quickly clear the hall. You may only use the doors by Mrs. Royal’s room to go outside. Walkers and Athletes Dismissed at 3:05.
