What does it take to make the most of Your Math Homework ? Textbook Syllabus Class Notes Paper & Pencil Or Your HW Team You For Homework

1. During Class: Pay Attention and Take Notes Follow the lecture in the textbook Put any requirements in your notes. Actually Do the sample problems. Watch how the teacher does the examples. See what work steps must be shown. Ask questions if you don’t understand.

2. Prepare before starting the Written Homework Look up the assignment in your syllabus Find the start of the assignment in your textbook. Note the numbers assigned. Format the first page of your Section HW with your name and complete HW assignment. Suggested: plan on 2 columns per page

3. Complete the first group of exercises For each exercise: Copy the original exercise Show work steps and/or notations Perform the math computation After doing a group, check answers in the back of the book: Fix wrong ones, circle correct ones.
