2 Entering the classroom First stop – the classroom! Click on your class.

3 The Lecture button These buttons take you around the classroom. Do not start your homework and quizzes until you’ve looked at the Lecture materials! You’ll waste time trying to invent math on your own!

4 The Lecture button The lecture materials are designed to keep you from getting frustrated.

5 Understanding is the key Once you understand the material, you’re ready to practice.

6 Navigations buttons Use the buttons to get to the homework and quizzes. Click here to Do Homework.

7 Syllabus The Do Homework button brings you to this page. The world’s best-kept secret! Click here to do your homework.

8 Doing Homework Locate the section you are working on, and click the assignment name to open it. This due date is just to keep you on track. You may work to improve homework scores all semester.

9 Homework Screen Enter your answer and hit the Enter key on your keyboard - way faster than the Check Answer button!

10 Symbol Buttons If you need a symbol that’s not on the keyboard, it’s probably on one of these buttons. Click the More button for additional symbols.

11 Feedback You’ll know right away if you got the problem right. Hit the Enter key on your keyboard - way faster than clicking OK!

12 Feedback Even if you get it wrong, it will give you hints! Don’t forget to read what it says!

13 3 Strikes and You’re Out! If you miss a problem 3 times, you’ll need to hit the Similar Exercise button to get a new problem to try. Once you get that right, you’ll get credit!

14 Help when you need it Use the buttons on the right- hand side to get help if you’re stuck.

15 Help Me Solve This Walks you through the problem.

16 Ask My Instructor You can e-mail me a question directly from the homework! HELP! Just don’t expect an instant answer!

17 Ask My Instructor When I get the email, I can see the question, the correct answer and what you put!

18 Monitor Progress At the top of the homework, monitor your progress An X means it’s wrong a means it’s right and a blank means you haven’t done it yet.

19 You can print whole assignment If you want to, you can print the whole assignment, work the problems on paper and then enter your answers.

20 You can print a homework question You can print an individual problem to ask me about it in class.

21 Save your work! Clicking the SAVE button sends your results to the grade book. You and I will both be able to see it.

22 Homework Overview See how you’re progressing on an assignment.

23 Gradebook Keep track of your progress in the gradebook.

24 Review an assignment Work to improve your score or just do more for practice.

25 Improve your score There’s no excuse not to get 100% on every homework!

26 Navigations buttons Don’t forget the quizzes!. Click here to Take a Quiz.

27 Quizzes Each section has: homework a math quiz and a Vocabulary and Concept quiz.

28 Quizzes Make certain that you study the Vocabulary and Concept quizzes before tests!
