What is Self-Esteem?  Why is it important to have high self- esteem?  What are some risks of having low self- esteem?

Key Terms  Self-esteem: a measure of how much you value, respect, and feel confident about yourself  Self- concept: a measure of how you view yourself  Integrity- the characteristic of doing what one knows is right
