Biodiesel does not increase carbon dioxide in the air, therefore it in not a harm to the environment. Biodiesel are also reusable, unlike fossil fuels PROS

Biodiesel is a lot more expensive than regular fuel Biodiesel is more viscous than regular fuel, it’s a lot thicker than gasoline CONS

There are many sources, on is vegetable oil, sun flower oil, it is the most common source. In Alaska, they used fish oil, Since they are plentiful in fish, and another common source is soy bean oil. Biodiesel are very easy to get and renew. SOURCES

Biodiesel was pretty much crated, because nonrenewable sources will eventually run out. The oils, such as vegetable oil, could not be used by itself, you could make it into biodiesel to be used in cars and what not as a more eco friendly alternative. HOW IT WORKS

Germany is the largest biodiesel maker in the word, consuming more than 1 million metric tons (1000 kg) in When biodiesel is used, a lot of people think it smells like french fries. Biodiesel is one of the most thoroughly tested alternative fuels on the market. Many studies have been completed with the results showing that biodiesel performs similar to petroleum. FUN FACTS
