The Future Continuous Tense

Introduction Just like the other Continuous Tenses (Present and Past Continuous), the Future Continuous Tense reflects action in progress. In this case, it represents action in progress in the future. You will use the verb phrase “will be” plus the –ing form of the verb: John will be studying Accounting next year.

Examples I will be practicing for the presentation in the library. My teacher will be giving a test today. We will be having a great time at the pool! All the visitors will be watching the documentary after the tour.

Affirmative Statement Pattern Subject Will be Verb-ing predicate My cousin Will be drinking Gatorade before the game.
