Key Packing Items: On the bus 1. Pillow--use it on the bus 2. Small throw blanket to use on the bus 3. Munchies & a beverage for the bus ride (Please do not bring small beverage coolers on the bus due to space limitations.) 4. Charger/external battery pack for electronics. Do not expect re-charging stops!

Key Packing Items: In Duffels 5. Toiletries 6. Wash cloth, hand towel and bath towel 7. Safety equipment: (as indicated before) 8. Work clothes (pants, not shorts) and clothing to change into in the evening. 9. Several pairs of shoes and extra socks 10. Rain poncho 11. Laundry bag/Plastic bag 12. Day backpack – use it for a carry-on bag and for a day pack at the work sites 13. Camera 14. Alarm clock and small flashlight 15. Bug spray, suntan lotion

Key Packing Items: Group Needs We need 6 large coolers (for storing lunches, etc.) –Large coolers labeled with your name. One cooler per 12 volunteers. We need 2 complete first aid kits –First aid kits - one per 10 volunteers

Extra Tools (opt.) Drywall, painting, and carpentry work. Label all tools with name, but we cannot guarantee return NRN trailer will be on hand for emergency work sites

Some Things to Expect: Temperatures: 60s to low 70s in day; 40s at night. Random waves of heat, steam, wind, rain, and cold: layers! Coordinated activities and occasional direction from our veteran students Direction by NRN staff: Mary!

Some Things to Expect: Early mornings (6:00 am breakfast!) Barracks-style spaces for sleep and chaperones sharing space! Bunk beds. Limited electricity I will have one computer for and the like, if we have wireless access. Do not bring your own computers. Helping with meals, clean-up, KP, packing lunch for work days Showers: Group/Open showers (locker-room style). Swimsuits

Duties At Work Site: Dirty work Cleaning Salvage/Rescue Site Prep Construction Listening At Living Site: Cleaning Cooking/Dishes Packing/Sorting

Entertainment Provided: Some basic games, balls, etc. Needed: Someone to organize some games/events (i.e. the Mr. Morgan Talent Show, euchre tournament, etc.) DVDs for bus. We can’t play everything, but we will choose the most lame films provided!
