Did you know…?  14 th or 15 th Century: Constructed in southeast France;  1926: Acquired by Mrs. Gertrude Hill Gavin, who had it transferred to her estate on New York’s Long Island;  1962: Estate passed into possession of Mr. & Mrs. Marc B. Rojtman;  1964: The Rojtmans presented the Chapel to Marquette and had it dismantled and sent to the campus for the university to reconstruct;  1965: Reconstruction started in July;  1966: Chapel was dedicated May 26.
