All verbs in Spanish end in either: AR, ER, IR Estudiar, Correr, Vivir, Jugar, Comer, Practicar, Ser, Estar,

To CONJUGATE a verb means to change it’s form. To speak  I speak, you speak, he speaks, we speak… To do this in Spanish, you follow a formula.

Yo=Nosotros = Tú = Ud. =Uds. =

I We You Sir, Madame, He, She You all (for.) They

Yo (I) = Conjugate the verb to this form when talking about yourself. I speak. I run. I am. I study.

Tú (You) = Conjugate the verb to this form when you are speaking directly to one person. How are you? Do you like chocolate? You study a lot.

Nosotros (We) = Conjugate the verb to this form when speaking about actions that you do with a group. We play. We study. We are. We sing. We argue. We write.

Vosotros (You all, informal) = This form is only used in certain Spanish speaking countries, especially Spain. It is used to say “You all” but in an informal manner.

Ustedes (You all, formal) = Conjugate the verb to this form when talking TO a group of people or ABOUT a group of people. Ustedes = You guys / You all / You girls Ellos = They They eat. You guys eat. They sing. You all sing.
